The Patronate of the Romanian Breeders and Exporters of Ovines - P.A.C.E.R.O. - was established in 2002, from the need of a representative organization for the Romanian breeders and exporters of ovines, for their direct and qualified support, in their relations with the state authorities and with the similar national and international institutions.
P.A.C.E.R.O. includes 39 Romanian commercial companies exporters of sheep, from a total of 55.
P.A.C.E.R.O. represents the market for 700,000 Romanian sheep breeders.
In 2002, from a total of 1.7 million sheep exported from Romania, P.A.C.E.R.O. members exported 1.5 million sheep.
THE PATRONATE OF THE ROMANIAN BREEDERS AND EXPORTERS OF OVINES represents, supports and defends the interests of its members in their relations with public authorities, with trade unions and with other natural and legal persons, in the matters of breeding and export of animals.
P.A.C.E.R.O. directly brings its authorized contribution to the elaboration of the economic policies on this issue, offering its support to the involved ministries; all its acts shall have both national and international relevance.
